WTB Dreamcast 4-wire modchip

Post by fingersmaloy »

Sorry if there's a thread about this, but I performed a couple searches.

Anyone know where to find one, preferably from a North American seller?
My game-related blog.

Why do you want to mod your dreamcast?

To play imports and burnt/back-up games you do not need to mod it with a chip.

A program called Code-Breaker (which works with VGA connection as well) lets you play imports and acts as a gameshark.

I use a program called Disc Juggler, sometime Alcohol 120% to burn game files to CD's. CDI file types work for Disc Juggler and another else Alcohol 120% can handle.

Maybe he just doesn't want to swap. Or he didn't know about the swap tricks.
Thanks everyone...

Don't need to trick anything to play a DC game, its a bootable disc that just asks you to change the disc, no need to time things or anything like the saturn, it is actually no inconvenience at all to do so.

ALL DC modchips are to make the DC region free ONLY.
Some gamers only like to use original discs and mod the console to be region free and not have 2 or 3 of the same console from different regions hooked up to one TV.

If you still need one PM me.
PSone, Xbox, PS2, DC, SS Mod Service, PM for details

fingersmaloy, with the codebreaker disc you dont need 3 consoles, just 1 disc to play any region.
