Goldeneye 007 2010 Nintendo Wii!

Post by Xionraserei1 »

So.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GoldenEye_ ... eo_game%29 Any thoughts? It looks pretty nice to me. I am excited. I might have to buy a Wii for this.

Only thing I am upset about is that I see Activision is the publisher. That actually kind of pisses me off. I just saw that now as I listed it. Maybe I wont be buying this game =/

Haha maybe this will mean that Wii games will be $60 at release with less features now too!

No, half the Wii games are in the bargain bin at launch. :/

I'd really like to get this, but not bringing my Wii to college means that it would be a better investment to drag the N64 up and buy an original Goldeneye cart.

I'm pretty excited too.

I wish more wii games would say fuck the normal controler and go with the classic controller. The new spiderman shattered dimensions game would be perfect for it. But alas.... they port it and cram it into a shitty control scheme.

I am not sure what I would play with first. That would be AWESOME if they released a N64-like controller just for that game to give it that old school feel. lol. but I don't think that is practical anymore.

amen.

What i don't understand is that- between the release of monster hunter and now 007, every hardcore gamer pretty much is going to have a classic controller. I'll have 3 for fucks sake. Please oh god please realize this and make games accordingly. If you are making a game that has the demographic of hardcore gamers AT THE VERY LEAST give me the option of switching to classic controls. Even if the hardcore gamer doesn't have a classic controler for your game, chances are, they'll buy it. For fucks sake, they are selling nightvision goggles and rc cars to hardcore gamers. A controller is a step back.

Seriously- not to threadjack but that spiderman game looks really fun and is impossible to play.

also- i just put my pre-order in for 007. You'll see me out there i'm sure.

Personally I prefer Wiimote + Chuck for controlling FPSes rather than dual analog. I'm glad this game will support both, though.
