Mark your calendars accordingly, all ye pessimists.
Note that I put "if" in italics. I don't believe that it would ever happen, and basically what I think is that the Maya got sick of making calendars.
In any case...
Yeah, there aren't many games that are going to be rare this generation, and I fear it will be the same in the future with the onslaught of downloadable content being pushed upon us.

Actually, Atlus is not going out of business. The had a restructuring of their parent group with Atlus being left untouched...if anything, it allows Atlus to branch out in other IP's and/or genre's.
That being said, Atlus has always thrived on their policy to print enough copies to suit demand, thus when they do finally stop printing them, they are likely to increase in value since they never get the chance to hit the bargain bin. They are always a good bet to hold their value.
oh, I had read a thread on these forums saying they were, I should have double checked my info, I am sorry

I'm just pointing out that the Mayan calendar DOESN'T stop then, it's just the 13th baktun. Mayans considered the number 13 to be significant. That's all there is to the whole thing, it's like a more mystified version of the whole y2k nonsense.
I don't intend to sound confrontational, it's all done in jest anyhow.
Sealed Limited Edition Consoles, as someone else said the new consoles are very likely to break, and there will be a huge demand for a mint functioning system. Unless of course PS4, X-Box 720, and Wii2 are backwards compatible
