Well, everyone said it would happen, and it did. Sony just released a PS3 firmware update that patches the exploit. :(

That's not so bad. You can get a case like this and sit it next to your TV.

Also, I like your Mega Drive games. :D (Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has much nicer artwork than the US release.)

The homebrew scene on the PS3 is showing signs of life; with the PS2 and Dreamcast emulators, and the FTP server that was just released, things are looking bright indeed. PSGroove was just updated to v1.1. That was quick.

I'm glad that the homebrew community is kicking off. Gives me another excuse not to update my PS3. Couldn't care less about PSN but apparently the DNS work around works for this firmware version.

All in one media/emulator hub with all my games installed to the hard drive? Sounds just like my old tiring xbox... Now, just need the 1TB 2.5" drives to come down in price. Fuck PSN, I'd rather have this.

I haven't turned my ps3 on in nearly two weeks, I might avoid updating just to see where this goes...

Sony bribed me today, into upgrading to the new firmware, with an LBP2 Beta key.
