Re: Severly overlooked NGC games
I just sold Go! Go! Hypergrind actually. It is a good game, but I found if I started playing I'd prefer to just play Tony Hawk instead.

From wikipedia:AppleQueso wrote:Gamecube is "GCN" dammit
The Nintendo GameCube (ニンテンドーゲームキューブ, Nintendō Gēmu Kyūbu?), officially abbreviated as GCN in Western regions[citation needed] and as NGC in Japan
Frankly, I think GCN is kind of stupid. I prefer NGC
Wario World and Luigi's Mansion are two titles I loved that people never seem to talk about. I like Wario's beat'em up moves in Wario World and I liked the cartoony yet sort of creepy feel of Luigi's Mansion and the mechanics involved in actually capturing ghosts. I actually enjoyed it more than that Ghostbusters game that came out on the PS3/360 not long ago

This exactly. As soon as I saw "Severly overlooked NGC games", I was about to see if Cotton, Biomotor Unitron and Cool Cool Jam were mentioned already.AppleQueso wrote:but but but NGC is weird and makes me think of NeoGeo Pocket Color

I totally glossed over this.Gamerforlife wrote: Wario World and Luigi's Mansion are two titles I loved that people never seem to talk about. I liked Wario World a lot but felt it was way too short.. I suppose that's better than being too long though.
Luigi's Mansion was a game I liked but never really acknowledged if that makes sense.

Luigi's Mansion is great, but way too short. It was the first game I got with my first Cube and I beat it that night.

Re: Severly overlooked NGC games
At least you bought a Nintendo-made game. Since I played Luigi's Manson thoroughly at E3 that year, I got Super Monkey Ball on launch day instead. It felt really weird to get a Sega game first on my new Nintendo console. Then again, the lack of a Mario game at launch felt weirder...noiseredux wrote:Luigi's Mansion is great, but way too short.
