Best Retro Games That Don't Exist (Yet)

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Best Retro Games That Don't Exist (Yet)

Post by racketboy »

Being inspired again by the Sonic 2 HD post, I wanted to see if anybody else could think of other retro game concepts they've seen online that aren't actual products yet.

The other one that comes to my mind is Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006

Anybody else have some good ones?

Chrono Resurrection always springs to mind.

Wind Waker for the Wii, otherwise known as A Wii Adventure. It's just so god damn cute.

First time I've seen Wii Adventure. Really well made. Did they somehow rip the actual models from Wind Waker?

And Fez looks great as well.

Can't wait for Castle Crashers myself. What's going on with that game anyway? Seems like its been a while since we've heard much about it.

Man, I never had seen that. It's amazing, and amazingly artistic. And funny, too.

Perhaps you should do a feature of good videos (animations or live) related to videogames. I remember there was a good action one made from SF and MK chars (although the text and plot was terrible, the choreography was good). That University marching band one is also quite good.

Pirate baby's... reminded me of so many things that I miss in beatemup/hack n slash games. I would love to see something like that. Viewtiful Joe's animatic style would go with that, a little. I wish that was a progress trailer for a real game...
