Funny comment considering it seems that most Zelda fans see TP as being the worst of the 3D games.Gamerforlife wrote: Screw Zelda, play Okami and Beyond Good and Evil LOL. Okay, I'm half joking, Twilight Princess was pretty cool, but overall Zelda hasn't been that awesome since it left 8-bit and 16-bit land

Re: Games you WANT to like
Depends who you ask, I usually hear that Windwaker is the one everyone hated. None of the modern Zelda games have had the same magic as Zelda II and Link to the Past for me, which isn't to say that they suck. They just haven't won me over like Beyond Good and Evil and Okami did(both clearly inspired by Zelda)AppleQueso wrote:Funny comment considering it seems that most Zelda fans see TP as being the worst of the 3D games.Gamerforlife wrote: Screw Zelda, play Okami and Beyond Good and Evil LOL. Is it the hot chicks that make you want to like it?Gamerforlife wrote:Final Fantasy X 2
It's sloppy (it was originally a Flash game), but horrible? I wouldn't go that far.EDIT:Alien Hominid-HORRIBLE,SLOPPY GAME DESIGN!!!
I suppose horrible is a strong word for Alien Hominid, but I just don't like the random deaths in Alien Hominid. It's a classic style over substance game. The classic Metal Slugs and Contra games were so much better put together. The Behemoth redeemed themselves in my eyes with Castle Crashers though, which I loved

Just about any RPG. I would love to be able to sit down and spend hours straight playing an RPG and getting into the story. But I just can't.
Also, the Zelda games. I really don't like any of them, but I really wish they did. Everyone else does, and I love everything else from Nintendo, but I just can't like these games!

Metroid Prime - I have a total love hate relationship with. When i sit down and put the game on its cool. I think the soundtrack is still one of the best I have ever heard. But when I turn it off, for some reason, I have to FORCE myself to turn it back on again. I dont hate the game. But I dont love it either. When I played uncharted 1 and 2, batman arkham asylum, COD, sin and punishment star successor, i couldnt wait till I got behind the controller. For some reason I just can't get totally "into" this game. And im starting to not care that im about 80% through the game and I dont have this urge to even beat it. I dunno???????

Heh. I actually had a lot more fun with Shadowgate 64 than the original. I didn't like Shadowgate much at all. Between the random deaths, nonsensical puzzles, and the limited turns you get thanks to the torches burning out, I couldn't really have much fun with it-- especially compared to contemporary adventure games available (at least, contemporary to the NES release).jp1 wrote: Shadowgate 64- Love the original but this one...not so much.

All the Super Star Wars games. Good graphics, star wars theme, original trilogy. But they're just too hard and stupid. I really wish they would stop with these angsty dark side games and make a current gen star wars game based on the original trilogy. Lego Star wars and its cheesy puzzle solving doesn't count.

and Metal Gear Solid, I hate that everyone else likes them, and I can't seem to get into it, I think they're awful, but the story sounds fairly intriguing
