PS2 2D Action RPG Goodness

You should try Grim Grimoire as well. Not particularly an RPG, or an 2D action adventure, nor is it an RTS. It's none of the above yet all of the above at the same time. A truly intriguing oddity, and looks bloody gorgeous in 1080p upscaled on the PS3.

Ditto on Grim Grimoire. Both of Vanillaware PS2 games I consider to be among the best games ever made.

You should play Muramasa for the Wii then. The Disgaea games are good 2D Tactical RPGs for PS2.

Loved Muramasa too I guess what i'm looking for doesn't exist. I wish there where more Action RPGs on the console

Somebody needs to dig up the licence for Tombi and bring out Tombi 3. Whilst keeping the 2.5D game play. Tombi and Tombi 2 are some of the best games on the PSX.

Ahh, Tomba. That was a bad ass game. I'd love to see a Tomba 3 alongside Sonic 4, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Bonk: Extinction, and Toki.
