Anyway for both things yeah.
The gameplay and physics are identical to S&R. (Because the person recorded over footage from S&K).
It looks shit hot though.

I know. What I don't get is why Sega doesn't just copy the physics from the Mega Drive games. Don't tell me they didn't keep the source code....

I'd assume they still have the source code, the Sonic games have been ported to the Saturn as Sonic Jam.

I guess the reason why the physics aren't copied is either:
A) The physics aren't easily recreated even if the developers have the original source code as a reference.

B) Sega doesn't like them.

Sonic's physics are a thing of mystery. It took yonks for scene devs to get it right (ProSonic and E02 are prime examples).
