The MANLIEST Super Nintendo games, For great glory!

Post by ThrashOmen »

So if any of you remember, I had a thread about putting a manly collection of games together for the NES. It actually came out really well and was put up on Underground-gamer.com and recieved Golden Torrent status! I spent a long time on it and if anyone is interested in checking out let me know with a PM and I may invite you. :D

But now I'm starting on a Manliest SNES collection, and I've been going through my own collection and my roomates collection of games on top of scouring the internet to find the baddest assed games I can for the SNES. They must also be fun and NOT a cheap arcade port.

The list has come out to 122 games so far.

Also, feel free to suggest some games that I may be missing out, have not discovered, or have forgotten! I feel like I'm missing some games centered around comic book super heroes such as Marvel and the Like. The games in the list are %100 approved to be Bad Ass by me so feel free to find them on your own! You won't be dissapointed :D

Also everyone who gives me advice or reccomends games will get credit in my torrent.

Nice list. I would add

Art of Fighting
Darius Twin
Kawasaki Super Bike
Killer Instinct
Mechwarrior
Mortal Kombat 1-3 (Drop ultimate 3 and go with 2 if you only want one from the series)

I would also drop the following games

Brain Lord
Gods
Lawnmower Man

Ya know, as a part of the collection, I'm including 4 of the Gayest but Manliest games for the SNES, including the Cho Aniki fighting game. So yes, don't worry...

I think I'm also going to include HyperZone and Sparkster. Thoughts?

Why no Lawnmower man? I think it's a decent action/playformer and the virtual reality bits are fun and interesting. Why does this game get so much Flak?

Also, GODS is a gorgeous puzzle/platformer with bad ass enemies and a hugely ripped muscle bound protagonist.

And for Brain Lord, I think it has a really excellent sound track, cool ass enemies and alot of dark atmosphere for being an Action RPG.
