Most perfumes rather than stink to me, give me a mild asthma attack... Or just kinda feels like I got kicked in the breadbasket.

90% of Cologne and Perfume gives me a headache. That said there are a few out there that I really like. The scent has to be really clean and it can't include a spicy, musk, or vanilla note. The cologne I wear the most is Kenneth Cole New York. I don't drench myself in it though which seems to be the popular choice these days. I spray one time in front of me and then walk through it.
My wife has several perfumes that I like but my favorite is Ocean Dream by Georgia Beverly Hills. Again, she doesn't drown herself in it.

I'm more the au naturel type when it comes to superficial crap like scents, but for crying out loud there ought to be laws against not bathing for more than 3 days, or daily in hot atmospheres.

This perfume http://www.fragrancex.com/products/_cid ... ducts.html makes me horny as hell. Seriously, a woman can get me easily in bed with average looks and her smelling like that.

Last year while waiting in like for PAX there was a bit projector which people could text to and get their messages on the screen. You would not believe how many people texted about their neighbor who didnt' have deodorant.Pulsar_t wrote:I'm more the au naturel type when it comes to superficial crap like scents, but for crying out loud there ought to be laws against not bathing for more than 3 days, or daily in hot atmospheres.

A good woman knows just how much perfume to use, what kind, where, and when. My wife occasionally uses a couple of kinds of perfume from Victoria's Secret that don't cause any allergic reactions/headaches/etc. in other people with the sensitivity (her mom has this affliction quite seriously).
This is the stuff she uses: http://www.victoriassecret.com/beauty/s ... n?pageAt=1
It's all very reasonably priced, and if you want to get your woman into something that won't hurt your head, it might make a nice gift. I'm a fan of the rose and vanilla scents, personally.
I wish my wife could find a perfume that was reasonably priced. Her "night on the town" perfume is over $100 per ounce, and her "special occasion" perfume is probably double that.
I wouldn't call her perfumes scented as much as I would call them magnets. Her skin and her perfumes just match.
edit* Very Valentino for women is the one that goes with my wife's natural smell. Not sure how it works, but it smells completely different on her skin than on its own. That's what makes a great perfume work.
Somewhat related, on the day of my Grandfather's funeral, my Grandmother insisted that we take her out to purchase a bottle of perfume for her to wear, the perfume was my Grandfather's favorite. I found it touching, that even though he had passed, my Grandmother dolled up for him. She wore one of the dresses he loved to see her in, and she wore his favorite perfume. That dedication and love still gives me a lump the size of a watermelon in my throat, but makes me smile with a tear in my eye. I don't believe in ghosts, but there is something in my mind that tells me my grandfather may have just smelled the perfume.

One of the problems with people who wear the same scent every day is that they become desensitized to it and they need more and more to be able to smell it the same as they used to. Almost like needing more and more drugs for the same high.
So break up the monotony and wear a few different scents.
