Problems with Saturn 3d controller

Post by Gamerforlife »

I just recently got a copy of Nights into Dreams along with a 3d controller. The controller work great in d-pad mode. However, whenever I switch on the analogue the controller just seems to die after a few seconds and won't do anything no matter what I press.

Is there something I can do about this, or do I have just a useless defective controller? I really wanted to play this awesome game the way it was meant to be played.

Could be a bad solder connection, or the analog potentiometer is dirty.

Yep I'd crack it open and take a look before you sling it, might be something pretty obvious

I opened it up, but I'm a bit of a rookie. I'm not even sure what I should be looking for. What does the analog potentiometer look like? Everything looks normal as far as I can tell

Well, I actually got a partial refund for the controller, so it's all good.
