Either Tactics Ogre GBA or Front Mission 3 is next. What do you folks say?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I couldn't get into the Ogre series at all, including Tactics Ogre, so my vote goes for Front Mission 3.
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games

I remember Tactics Ogre being the shorter game...

Front Mission 3's not a bad game, it's just feels exceedingly long. Perhaps it's that I've not been able to play it straight through, but I feel like it's dragged ever since the characters entered China, which is about halfway through the Emma storyline.

This choice in Front Mission 3 that splits the story line...is it obvious? Without giving any plot away, can you tell me if I'll recognize it when I see it?

You can stay in the lab (or whatever it's called) or go out with a friend. I didn't realize the choice made any difference when I played the game until I looked for secrets on gamefaqs. (Was looking for info on hidden Wanzers and stuff like that.)

Okay, that should help. Thank you. I guess that means I'm going with Front Mission 3 then. See you guys in a few months.

Plus, if I recall correctly, the choice is the first choice you make in the game. It's basically a way of saying "Choose to play as Claude or Rena" but making the choice up to the character instead of up to the player.

I've made it my own personal agenda to finally beat Final Fantasy on NES. I had the game as a kid and never got past Astos. Since I have no NES, I am emulating it on my Xbox. No save states -except to backup my actual game saves at the Inns.

I just got the TNT, and am kicking this game's ass thanks to this:

The only real grinding I did was to get LIT2 for my Red Mage before the Marsh Cave. Currently at Level 8 thanks to some exploratory grinding after obtaining the key.

Btw: This game is surprisingly fun (when you know what to do)! That Nintendo Power strategy guide lied to us all.

Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis on the GBA was my favorite RPG on the system - and I was no slouch when it came to RPGs on the GBA.
