Sega Saturn Game Cases

Post by ReddMcKnight »

Do any online stores sell completely empty Saturn Game Cases? Are there labels that can be printed out to put into the cases anywhere?

as far as I know, there isn't really any way to get saturn/ps1/sega cd longbox style jewel cases short of buying up sports games and whatnot that nobody wants.

As for inserts, you'd probably just have to ask around for people to scan stuff in.

A nice, simple alternative might be to buy empty DVD cases and just print out custom covers from TheCoverProject.

Well I had a place bookmarked from a month or so ago, but it looks like they've disappeared.

Yeah this would be my suggestion as well.

Those odd boxes are just a pain in the neck to find and use. I think you might be able to buy sega cd boxes and retrofit them, but thats just too much work.

Also you could go for an import version as those games are a bit easier to find whole.

there was a website selling brand new long boxes. expensive as shit. i think 5 for $25 plus shipping on top of that. i posted i link in thread a while back, but i forget where.

edit: i lied. i didn't post a link. an ebay seller was selling them. the picture of the item had a website address to the actual website that was selling them. after looking at the completed auction, the picture is no longer there. and therefore, the web address is gone.

those long boxes dont survive the tests of time.

whenever I find them in fleamarkets and pawnshops, they are always cracked!

makes me sad.

but yeah I guess the only way to get nice cases would be to buy some sports games and switch them out.

Yeah its almost not worth bothering to get them for me. Even when you get them their not practical for storage. The import cases were so much better.

i love long boxes!

but i wonder why the ps1, sega cd, and saturn chose to release games in that form since no other media was released like that.
