Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I'm on vacation on the East Coast, so I went to see Videogamesnewyork. I got:
Ouendan 2 - DS
Military Madness - TG16
Neo Turf Masters - NGPC
Baseball Stars - NGP
NGPC-to-Dreamcast Link Cable
All for around $100; considering the prices of the store, that's not too shabby.

TMNT III (NES) (Boxed)
Strider (Genesis) (Complete)
SMB 3 (NES)
Space Invaders (N64)
Batman Returns (Sega CD)
All for about $36. Maybe not fantastic, but they're all games I've wanted for a long time.
That said, if you're ever in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, BE SURE to visit a store called The Yard Sale- it takes up 50% of Laurium's main intersection and is one of my favorite places to buy games and VHS tapes at reasonable prices.

If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

Very awesome score!dsheinem wrote:Very nice! Sounds like you about doubled your Genesis collection. Are the games boxed/complete as well?I Feel Asleep!! wrote:HOLY FREJOLES, BATMAN.
Today my mom found the following at a yard sale, all in working condition:
Sega Genesis Model 2
Genesis Model 2 RF Unit
Two AC Adapters
Two official three-button controllers
Contra Hard Corps
Mortal Kombat
Street Fighter II Champion Edition
Toy Story
Lotus II R.E.C.S
Gargoyles
Jurassic Park Rampage Edition
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Wimbledon Championship Tennis
After Burner for 32X
Last Battle
Greatest Heavyweights
And all of that cost...5 dollars.![]()
Not sure if you have a 32X - but After Burner is an awesome port!
And yes the After Burner port on the 32X is awesome for whenever you get one, of the consoles. Just beware that there's this underlying squeal in the game's audio similar to when an old SDTV is on, but in a higher pitch that can really drive you nuts if you can hear it.
Also, wanna trade for that Contra?
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Ahh, now I look forward to being able to play After Burner. Sound interesting...
And it'd be pretty hard for me to part with that contra game unless the trade was for something crazy awesome in return.
