You can use almost any hard drive that plugs into usb. OKAY?

according to amazon, the 4gb slim is already on sale, a pre-order only for the 250 gb hdd :P

What were they thinking with a 4gb HDD anyhow? That's less than even the ORIGINAL Xbox.

That is true. I don't know if you can cheat by creating bunch of 16gb partitions or not, but i doubt it. You can plug in 16gb for every USB slot though. Potentially 16gb x 5 totaling 80GB. I don't know if you can then use usb hubs too. But to be honest- i've had my 360 for a couple years now and i've JUST filled up the stock 20gb drive. You don't really need a ton of space.

It's not a hard drive. It's on board flash memory.

That sounds expensive. :shock: I have a 60gb, and it's not but full but I want to start installing my games and use DLC. I tried to finds some ebay and craigslist people but no deal. Maybe GameStop will give me one? :o

ah- theres the rub. I never install any of my games. Does that actually help performance?

The maximum limit per device single or dual config is 16GB. If like me you install games that fills up pretty quickly, but the upshot to this limitation is that you can format several devices to install more games but the cost per GB accumulates rapidly.

I haven't had trouble with devices above 16gb.

So maybe my 360 is just awesome.
