Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I have also heard that because games are so expensive in Japan, many retailers have very generous incentives to sell the game back to them as quickly as possible. From my understanding, if you purchase a game and sell it back to the vendor within 24 hours you can get back around 60% to 70% of the price. This means that many of the "used" games you purchase from Japan have likely only been owned for a day.

The same day I got Sonic 2 from a board member (today), I also found Sonic 3 CIB and Jurassic Park CIB at GoodWill, for 6 dollars combined. Now I have Sonic 1-3, Spinball, and Sonic and Knuckles! Woohoo, says I!

Not really "finds" but I've had some cool stuff arrive in the mail over the past week:
For the Dreamcast:
I also picked up a second Jag controller and these driver controllers/game. Now I can make my Tempest 2000 controller

I picked up a complete copy of Brave Fencer Musashi today for $2.50 at a nearby thrift store. There's some damage to the manual, but the demo disc was included and the game's in good shape after I cleaned a little goo off of it.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Here are my two most recent finds that are worthy of posting.
I went down to the local game store (PnP games) and found this Dreamcast sitting in a box that had other regular Dreamcasts stacked on top of it. Not the rarest one but still a decent find. I have wanted a coloured one for a long time and I was super happy to find this one. It was only 50 bucks.
Sega Sports Edition Dreamcast And I also bought a Ps3 and 11 games off a guy from work for 250 bucks. I only wanted a Ps3 to play Fat Princess and Little Big Planet so dropping that much money to play basically two games really wasn't worth it to me so I never got one. But the games alone are worth more than that and this deal was just too good to pass up so I snatched it. It also came with a Metal Gear Solid wireless headset, two controllers, some Ps3 Blu Ray thingy and Spider-Man 3 on Blu Ray since its the Spider-Man edition Ps3.
The games are: Resident Evil 5, Midnight Club: LA, Gran Turismo 5, Dragon Age, Need for Speed Pro Street, Grand Theft Auto 4, Rainbow Six Vega 2, NHL 09, Lost Planet 2, Saints Row 2, and Burnout Paradise. Apparently he was incapable of owning a game that isn't a sequel. (Resized the images a tiny bit. Apparently my phone takes huuuuuuge pictures)

To be fair, its not like he has much choice on the ps3Para wrote: The games are: Resident Evil 5, Midnight Club: LA, Gran Turismo 5, Dragon Age, Need for Speed Pro Street, Grand Theft Auto 4, Rainbow Six Vega 2, NHL 09, Lost Planet 2, Saints Row 2, and Burnout Paradise. Still though, for the money, you got an excellent deal, those games aren't half bad.
