Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I usually don't have any problems like that.

But I played Descent back in the day, and let me tell you... If you think motion sickness from a "regular" FPS is bad, try an actual 3D one (if you haven't played Descent, you control a tiny spaceship inside tunnels - you don't just move in a plane with jumps, you move in space).

I played Decent 3. I felt nothing. It's never the feeling of being upside down or sideways that gets me. Again, Portal was no sweat for me. I felt fine. It's something else that affects me.

Motion sickness has never been a problem, but now that I went into portable gaming with the psp the first times where horrible when playing on a car or any kind of moving vehicle, got so dizzy. Now its not a problem anymore but on some games like last week playing syphon filter dark mirror it came back.

And on the other topic of attention span I can never let a game sit for 2 weeks because when I come back I forget a lot of the story. Can't remember stories for a game finished months ago, less for games finished years ago. I think it has to do with getting so much info from tv, books, internet, work and games. I had 10+ hours into FFXII but I let it sit for 2 months and I'll probably have to start all over again.
