I have trouble EVEN when I'm driving. And I know for a fact I'm not dumb :)
So I just don't like driving, and am thinking of getting a sat nav system or something :P

They always ask the same questions, asking " why do you have to make computers so hard to understand"? as if I was out the back on my lunch break building and programming the fucking thing. Even when I'm showing them the easiest of things like copying data to a thumb drive. I go through the most basic of instructions on how to drag and drop, only to have them stare blankly back at me as if I were explaining quantum mechanics.

I live in a small industrial town of about 30 thousands people. Whether or not population density has anything to do with individual density is still to be seen, but I'm beginning to see evidence to prove that it does.
i really hate it when im asked to help with computers sometimes its like talking to a brick wall..especially over the phone

And to answer your question I agree, stupid people are mighty irritating - I know that we really should pity them and nuture them so that they dont hurt themselves but I really havnt got the time or the heart for that.

Ugh...yes I've encountered the short-cut problem a bit to. Save me, my freakin DOS calendar program from the 80s is gone! I think the problem with computer ignorance lies that quite a lot of people never had any kind of instruction on how to use a computer beyond turn it on, double click AOL, and write in Microsoft word.

And don't say its just the older people who are clueless! I know of plenty of young people who don't know crap beyond iTunes and MySpace. Seriously, an in depth computer maintenance and upkeep course should be required for any high school student these days...

And then my all time favorites - the professors who have a PhD in computer science, are expert programmers, but when it comes to doing anything else - are clueless! Why doesn't my zip drive work? How do you remove spyware...priceless.

Anyway as has been mentioned Happy Thanksgiving....

Natural selection suggests that the ignorant will inherit the earth. They too are the ones producing most of the offspring... run now before they come chasing us with their mice screaming "this thing doesn't squeek God damn it!"
