Hey everyone, another new member here.
Like most people I have been browsing the website for a long time now but just recently decided to register and become and active member.

I'm 21 years old and I live in Canada.
I'm huge into gaming, especially retro games. I used to be a huge Nintendo fanboy, (deep down I always will be) but the Gamecube and Wii have really hurt the special relationship that I had with Nintendo growing up. :(

I have a NES, SNES, Gameboy, DS, Wii, Xbox, Xbox360, Ps2 (3 of them because two broke over the years), N64, PS3, and a Dreamcast.

My favorite system of all time is the SNES, and the NES at a close second. My favorite games of all time in no particular order: Earthbound, Super Mario RPG, Morrowind, Majora's Mask, River City Ransom, NBA Jam. It's really too hard to choose my favorite games without making a massive list.

I have a few hundred games in my collection and I am in the process of moving so it might be a little while before I post my game room.

Currently I am in school to become and electrician but in my spare time I want to start making games. My brother, a close friend and I are planning on making a game company in a few years. I won't get too much into that because I'm sure everyone at some point wants to also make games. My brother and I worked online as a developer for an online game for years (Graal Online), my brother is also a graphic artist and my friend knows C++. Hopefully all our skills and talents combined will be able to produce a decent game in a couple years.

Also shout out to Unleadedlogic for making a YouTube video about the Famicom as per my request. :D

Anyways I'm going to start being more active on the forums and look forward to being apart of this community. 8)

Welcome, Para! As a fellow Nintendo fan boy, I feel your pain about the Wii, but don't give up on the Gamecube just yet.. You'll find a wealth of info and newfound respect for the ol' Cube on here if you keep your eyes peeled and your mind open, (and look out for the Wii to blow up a bit with the hardcore fanbase in the next year or so..)

And you worked on Graal?? The old Zelda:ALTTP MMO clone?? I used to play the hell out of that like 10 years ago!

I worked on Graal for a really long time. In total I played the game for like 6 years and throughout that time I did literally every staff position possible except for Playerworld Admin. I've always wanted to make a gallery to show off all my old Graal stuff because I have made hundreds of things that are just collecting dust on my old computer and seeing all that stuff again makes me all warm and nostalgic inside.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the Gamecube. I got one for Christmas the year it came out and I have about 20 games for it. I spent a lot of time playing Animal Crossing, NHL Hits 2003, Smash Bros, Alien Hominid and so on.

A lot of the games I liked for it weren't even exclusive to the Gamecube and most of the 1st party exclusives were just worse versions than their older system counterparts. Sounds confusing but what I mean is; Mario Kart Double Dash, Smash Bros Melee, Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine were all much worse than their N64 counterparts. I still played all these games throughly and they're still decent games but they are plain worse in my opinion. I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with me but thats okay. :)

I've been a gamer since the late nes days.

My first system was an intelevision that my parents bought at a yardsale. I played it constantly for about a month before it died. I never looked back after that.

Ive owned at one point in time or another, Nes, Snes, Genesis, Jaguar, Saturn, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360.

My favorite console was probably my Saturn, though the PS2 is close.

I'm a teacher so being a cheapass gamer is kinda a must for me as well, but im hoping to get a Saturn again soon and probably a Retro Duo so i don't have to use my still functioning toaster NES.
