PSX4Droid

The PS1 emulator for phones running Android 2.0 or higher has been released. It is called PSX4Droid. I have not checked it out yet but if anyone does let me know what you think of it.

This emulator runs as smooth as butter on my Evo with Android 2.2. There's still definitely room for improvement, but it is great as it stands.

Good to hear it is running smoothly. I'll have to put this on my phone later. It has been years since I have played Einhander and I hear it calling me.

I see you're a Droid owner; good news, your phone is getting the 2.2 update this week, which makes programs run anywhere from 2-5x faster. As soon as you get that, you shouldn't have any problems running games at or near full speed. [Also, as a side note, the 2.2 update also includes Flash 10.1 for the browser!]

Excellent news! I new it was coming sometime but I wasn't sure when. :D

I have one and want to play it... But it's only available in Japan PSN right? Although I heard you can use a japanese account on US PS3s but isn't there a risk with that involved? Not sure I want to take it..

More good news; the Incredible should be getting 2.2 FroYo sometime soon, as well.
