Indeed. I've never understood why people fret about downloadable content. Granted, I prefer a disk release, but every piece of DLC for the original Xbox is still available even after Microsoft discontinued the service and it will be the same for games and DLC when Xbox 360 closes shop.

Ok. So you can still put your original Xbox online and download DLC. But you just can't play your games via Live anymore, is that correct?

That's right, you can't play online with other people. But that'll probably get cracked at some point, just like how PSO for the DC was.

There are services that allow any Xbox game with LAN support to play online.

Just too bad Capcom vs SNK 2 doesn't allow for LAN play.
