Since we have the PAX topic going, who all is going to the other major geek festival that weekend?
I should be there all weekend, as press surprisingly, and am running four panels that I know of. One BS panel, one about the Toyistic Generation of Cartoons (1983-1995 specifically), and two I cannot talk about because the guests have yet to confirm on the panels. And since I now have my Zoom H4n, well those guest panels may be recorded - wink wink nudge nudge say no more.

I'd love to go, but I'm cheap and it's expensive. So once again I'm putting it off for the year and hoping I can go next year. I've been doing this for about a decade now...

Well since they have been officially announced the other two panels I am doing are:
Gargoyles - with Johnathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, and another Guest whos name eludes me.
Futurama - with Billy West, John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche, and Phil LaMarr.
Frakes is a family friend so thats not so big, but yes you read that right boys and girls. Old fast gets to hang out with Bender.
Also Mechcorps is bringing there Tesla II pods:

Please ask Frakes for his opinion of William Shatner.
I watched the Captains Summit with him, Shat, Nimoy and ole' Jean-Luc and when Shat stated flatly that he had never in his life watched an episode of TNG the look on their faces cracked me the hell up. William Shatner is the only celebrity that I consider a personal hero but the man is an asshole.

oh Shatner is an asshole. Other guests when they sign things engage the people, he will do it while on the phone. I mean someone just paid $50 and waited in line an hour plus to get you to sign something and you are on the phone...

So this was last weekend. Anyone who is on the forums because of one of the panels I ran at Dragoncon after I ran out of personal business cards can reach me at this username at gmail. Next year I will print out more.
It was by far the best convention I have ever been to. Not only did I hang out with most of the cast of Futurama, but I got to hangout with SpongeBob for a couple hours and he is one of the nicest people I have ever met.
And I made the coolest swag ever:
Even though you cant see two of them, thats one of my 7800s signed by almost everyone I did a panel with so:
top row - Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, C. Martin Croker
middle row - John DiMaggio, Billy West, Phil Lamar
bottom row - George Lowe (with his silver pen of devouring - per Croker)
missing - Dana Snyder and Tom Kenny - but I will get both in the near future.
