I wanted Anthony Morrow from you guys, but it look like he is going to the Nets
yeah, i hate to lose a good shooter on our team but it seems GS is not going to match the 12 mil offer sheet from the nets. and what did the GS do? signed Dorell Wright to a 3 yr 11 mil deal. sigh. we don't need this. it's like signing Corey Magette after losing Baron Davis. urgh. :?

Yeah... I have said a lot on this already, but here is my take.

1. I am upset with LeBron, but its over.
2. I love the NBA because I love watching superstars play each other, but with Miami I feel like Ill be watching the Globetrotters.
3. I wonder: Would LeBron have left Cleveland if they won the title? That makes me wonder about his performance against Boston and him WANTING to leave.
4. Now that I slept on it, I realize that the Cavs now have something in common with EVERY NBA team that EVER won the title - NO LeBron James.

I love what our owner did with the letter, but I disagree with his tactics. I think we need to tear down and rebuild not get more bloated contracts to win now.
Oh, and if you didn't hear Dan Gilbert the owner of the Cavs and Fathead was selling all of the LeBron ones for $17.41. 1741 just happens to be the birth year of Benedict Arnold.

Anyway, I took down all of my LeBron posters and jerseys from my basement wall and will now stick to my no buying jerseys until the player retires from Cleveland policy.

Oh, and here is a good article on the whole LeBron situation. It looks as if there may be some tampering cases by Toronto and Cleveland (rumored) filed.

I think legacies are overrated. Winning is more fun. Maybe Lebron James listened to some of what Kevin Garnett had to say. I think he said something to the effect that he wished he left Minnesota earlier.

Found the quote:
Loyalty is something that hurts you at times, because you can't get youth back. I can honestly say that if I could go back and do my situation over, knowing what I know now with this organization, I'd have done it a little sooner.
People can say it's selfish, but I don't expect anything more from athletes. I just want to watch them do amazing athletic feats. I don't care where they do it. I like sports, but I'm not really the fan type. I don't root for any one team, so that's probably why I don't care.

TODAY:

The Captain Is Back
PP

The Boston Celtics announced today that they have re-signed team captain and forward Paul Pierce. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"I am very excited to be back in Boston," said Pierce. "I have always said that I would love to retire as a Celtic and re-signing here will allow me to do that. I would like to thank Danny, Doc, the ownership group and the rest of the organization. I'm thrilled that they kept the core intact and look forward to getting back on the parquet with my teammates so we can bring Banner 18 home to Boston."

dudes, NR is happy!!

So I'm going to predict that my Detroit Pistons only win 10 games this season... Greg Monroe and Austin Daye have been god awful in summer league so far... Demarcus Cousins and Hassan Whiteside had a field day against our joke team, and it doesn't seem like this team will be able to unload RIP, Maxiell and Tayshaun's contracts... What a joke the Pistons have become...

Don't know what to say about this year's NBA Free Agency, as it already change the landscape of several NBA teams dramatically, that I believe will linger for several years - for better or worst.

Compared to the NHL Free Agency, I don't know if there were as a so-called secret meeting between the top players, and and it doesn't help that there are many loopholes within the NBA's CBA.

Seriously, the NBA will need to take a hard stance sooner or later before the NBA crumbles under the players.

Yeah the Heat are definitely public enemy #1 now. Orlando matching the offer sheet to retain JJ Redick from going to the Bulls really fucking pissed me off. I fucking hate those Florida teams!
