Has UG so much as been warned? I doubt it will happen. It's gatta be at the bottom of their list.

And Suprnova was public, not private.

I even made a mention of Demonoid's death on my site, since it carried some of my projects. I'm ganna have to reupload them somewhere else.

There seems to be a trend of these type of busts/raids happening right around the Christmas period. To me, it seems like big organisations like the RIAA are just thinking about maximum profit in holiday season, so that's why a lot of these sites bite the dust around this time. I wouldn't be surprised if we see the same sites, and/or several new ones pop up within the new year.

Damm this is sad for demonoid, really liked that one and even bought a t-shirt last month. Guess they were too big, they should do something like the pirate bay did.

i don't think they will and there were even rumors before that demnoid wasn't a safe site. I hope someone else makes a site just like demonoid.

Well, in the IRC channel, one of the ops flat out stated in the channel title for a while that Demonoid WILL come back in some form no matter what.

That articles 2 months old and wrong. They're simply blocking access from Canada (pussys!).

um.... they're not blocking anyone now.

My proxy from elsewhere can't get in either, so I know they're not just blocking the U.S. either.

What really sucks about when Demonoid shut down, that half of the torrents thats uploaded in public torrent sites are like now dead.
