Well it's on sale right now at an awesome price of $400 bucks. I'm far to poor at the moment to buy it, so who will?

If I had the money... I probably still wouldn't buy it, haha, but still I love people who go through the trouble to make a system portable. I think my favorite ever was the PS1 that had the exposed disc on the back.

Anyway, Is this an official thing made by Sega? Could anyone explain?

They are unofficial. They are asian dreamcast units with an american power supply and an LCD harvested from the official PS1 LCD unit. Sega put out several lawsuits to stop distribution as they had a modified firmware allowing them to play cdrs and games from all regions. I have heard from several people that they are extremely well built for an asian knockoff of sorts.

seems overpriced for what it is.... I was thinking it was a Ben Heck portable for that much money.
