My bet is yes!
Also get 2 multitaps and 10 controllers and have a 10 player bomberman party.
Just let your friends bring their friends and relatives
Do it now, thank me later.
The awesomest gaming experience you can have in your home.
Well ok, 2 or more: consoles linked, 50" tv, racing wheels
That would also rock!

Re: Saturn Bomberman
I just recently downloaded this for my modded saturn, and had to try it out, considering every always says its a great game. After playing it for about 10 minutes, I can see why. I think its very fun, and could be very addicting. But then i realized I haven't played Panzer Dragoon Zwei in a few years next thing I know i played that for about 2 hours! LOL

Re: Saturn Bomberman
I would definitely say that Saturn Bomberman with 2 Multitaps and 10 controllers is a total blast. I'm planning to set up my Saturn at my school's next party, and hook it up to a projector. I'm going to bring all 10 controllers, and if I'm so inclined, I might bring along the Netlink, too, and see if I can find an online match.

Re: Saturn Bomberman
I'm planning on buying the US version of this soon. Is the US version netlink compatible/is there a regular version and a netlink version like other games? Thanks.

Re: Saturn Bomberman
I would go for the US version, because I'm pretty sure the PAL version doesn't support the Netlink.

Re: Saturn Bomberman
Ok I'm here to answer all the Netlink questions.
The US version of Saturn Bomberman only exists in the Netlink edition. So if you have the US version it supports the Netlink. If you do no have the netlink plugged into the system it just goes straight to the main game. Once the Netlink is plugged in and you turn on the console it will take you to a menu that lets you select either the normal game or go to the Netlink menu for a netlink match.
Things to keep in mind. You will need to know another player that also has a US Saturn and US copy of Saturn Bomberman and a netlink modem. Both of you will need analog phone lines, no ditial phone. The Netlink does NOT connect to the internet for multiplayer. It directly dials from one Saturn to the second Saturn whichin in turn answers the call and makes a direct connection over an analog telephone line. If you've got some money to spend or are really handy with following scematics you can build a "telephone line simulator" which is basically a phone network in a box. You can use that to connect two local Saturns. I believe someone at www.saturnleague.com did this which is actually pretty cool.
Here's a link to my hour long video abou the netlink that explains everything about it and shows actual Netlink multiplayer gameplay recorded this year. The video got screwed up somewhere and chopped off the first few minutes but I'll eventually get around to making a better version. This version does however answer every question about the netlink.
