Prinny Can I Really Be The Hero? DLC Help

I have the three DLC files for the Prinny game, but I can't access them

I keep getting this error:

Download Stage
[DL0000.EDAT] / [DL0001.EDAT] / [DL0002.EDAT]
could not read

*Cannot find protected information file




Is there anything I can do to fix this? I'm running a modded PSP and running the game off of the Memory Stick.

So after you download them you access them in-game. There's an item you need to pick up in a later stage which will open up extra stages, which includes the DLC.

That's what I did. When I try to access them the correct way, I get the error.

Hmmm... only thing I can think of is to delete and redownload the DLC files. I've actually never tried them out; I missed the item the first time and after beating the last boss I haven't been able to work up the energy for another playthrough.

Is the game any good? I've looked at it on the PS Store in curiousity, part of me wants to take the risk to buy it, and the other part says save my money.

Let me put it this way. You start with 1000 lives. I ended the game with 600something. Which speaks to its two aspects:

1. It's fucking hard. You're commited to your jumps (though you can change direction with a double jump) and there's a fair amount of memorization in the vein of the Ninja Gaiden bats at pits.

2. It's immensely satisfying to conquer its challenges. I spent 100 lives on the last boss alone, but I was so excited when I beat him. He's got an entirely predictable pattern and doesn't do anything cheap; he's just requires perfect execution.

Were you playing on Normal or Hell's Finest mode?

Normal I think. That's the one where you get three hits, correct?

I thought the last boss in that game was a ridiculous difficulty spike though. Plus, it was like a 15 minute battle Good game though, but the jumping will piss you off at first - it takes some getting used to.

Will rebuying/downloading the DLC mess up my PSP? It's modded, but not with recent firmware.
