By "transfer", do you mean "stream", or actually copying the files to the hard drive? I've had trouble with audio synchronization, as well. I wasn't ever able to solve it right away, but a lot of the time, the problem went away by itself when I try again later. It's weird, and I don't know why, but it worked. Sorry that that's so nonspecific, but that's just from my experience.

Vuze http://www.vuze.com/ click on the PS3 icon, drag the files to that location, done.

Or you can use PS3 Media Server (it's Java and is cross platform) which will allow you to stream any media to your PS3 (it transcodes unsupported codecs on the fly) you can also copy the the file to your hard drive as well (it transcodes on the fly).

PS3 media server is very easy to set up and is well documented on their forums should you have any trouble.

I don't mean to be rude, but if you read the first post, you will see the he IS using PS3 Media Server.

I had to read the post 3 times before I noticed that. I've never had this problem with PS3 Media Server.
