another Red Alert phenomenon ("storm cloud")

while playing C&C Red alert (PS1 version) today, towards the end a very strange thing happened. i was playing a skirmish and had beaten the computer pretty much, there was only one out of two opposing forces left, and the one left only had a couple of ore trucks left but i was just messing around , building up my bases defences unecessarily like i usually do (and also partly trying to make that other thing happen i mentioned in an earlier post) , i had revealed all the map due to my tech centre but a piece of unrevieled territory appeared in the water (top right near to where my bas was). It was about the size of a chronophere (or about 4 building squares) and was what can only be described as sort of pulsating. it started to move around the map randomly. i sent an acp over to see what would happen and to my suprise a tesla coil electic bolt came out and destroyed my acp in one go as soon as it got near. i did the same again with a riflman and the same thing happend. then it came over to my base and destroyed some of my buildings then just disappeared. (I can assure you i am not making this up). I dont know if this has happened to any one else or is in fact a well known thing to happen. ive been been playing red alert since it first came out and this has never happened before, im gonna try making it happen again when i can be bothered and take a picture if i can. For anyone else interested in having a go at making this happen here is exactly how i had the game set up before this happened: i was playing a skirmish on the allied disc, map 1 , playing as england , 2 other oppenent forces , shroud regrowth on , starting units 12 . i had been playing for about an hour and a half, completley destoyed one computer army and had deatroyed the other one to the point they only had 2 ore trucks left and i had taken over there construction yard. as i said this has never happened before but just shows for me anyway even the games ive been playing for years still through up suprises! thats why i love retro gaming. any thoughts on this any one?

This sounds like a chrono storm. Whenever the chronosphere is used there is a chance that a chrono storm will be spawned thanks to the mucking around with spacetime.

i was using a chronosphere at the time, didnt no it was that . cheers
