Exactly. This is why I think democracy is a bad idea.

Democracy is the theory that a group of idiots can make better decisions than a single idiot acting alone. In practice democracy works out because you can divide the large group of idiots into several smaller groups, all at odds with each other. Giving them all a voice helps prevent anything from getting done, which works out well for everyone.
