Nope can't say I do. Exact opposite. I'm ecstatic Argentina lost so badly. Maradona should finally learn to shut his mouth up. They had only played with the weakest teams in the tournament (with the possible exception of Mexico), and he thought his team was the best in the tournament.

Also he kept talking about how great Mesi is, and that people only want to watch games with players like Mesi, and that refs should protect his precious Mesi.

Well Mesi, like many great players in the past, played shit in this tournament, and Germany wiped the .... grass with Argentina.

Can't wait what he will have to say about the defeat, and the angry mob of Argentinians throwing tomatoes at him :D:D.

An athlete/professional should talk with his play/work and not with his mouth.

Being a Brazil fan, I couldn't be happier; Maradona should go back playing golf

This victory to the Germans is revenge after what Maradona did in the finals against West Germany in 86

The Argentinian newspapers were laughing at Brazil yesterday and most people here only replied: "What sets Brazil and Argentina apart is one day, guys". Said and done. Hahaha.

In fact, at least I think the Brazilian defeat wasn't a total humilliation like the Argentines'. Brazil played very well in the first half and the own goal made the team lose its cool. The Dutch didn't actually create a lot.

This, in contrast, was, well, floor wipeage if there ever was one. Did you guys watch Maradona's press conference after the game?

Oh, yeah, this is what I call schadenfreude.

Actually FIFA in the end didn't count the goal as an own goal. The Netherlandians were actually pretty good in the second half mate. But yeah still it was at least a close game. 2-1 and if your player who got a red card, was more careful you might have had a chance to turn the game around.

The Dutch were not very good, in my opinion. Even when they were alone and only needed to shoot at the goal (and there were a couple of times they could do that), they failed. Notice that both goals were blatant mistakes from Brazil. Not saying it's not deserved; football is like that, you take advantage of the weakness of your opponents, and the Dutch were masters in taking advantage of the unstable temper of the Brazilians, for instance. As to the goal, it was an own goal, no matter what FIFA says.

Now, did you watch Spain? Spain really, really sucks, let me tell you.

Do I have to requote myself? As always they won with a single goal. Good thing the offensive powerhouse that is Germany is still in the cup. When they play the Spanish they'll wipe the floor with them.
