Well I believe the scene you're looking for should be triggered whilst working, so definitely try doing a different route maybe. Or have a look at the map they give you and see which route they suggest.

Unfortunetely I fear maye something's happened and it's messed up your game, meaning you might have to start all over again. Hopefully that's not the case though, good luck.

Thanks very much guys. Got it to work today. You have to take the exact route the map tells you to take (I was using the same route to each warehouse instead of the separate routes on the map). Although various characters say they hang out "in front of" the cafeteria the trigger actually happens along the path behind it, which I wasn't using.
