Oh yeah and up until today I had never heard of and watched the Legendary Daicon III and Daicon IV shorts which were the first pieces of animation ever created by Gainax.

They are utterly amazing and brilliant and Twilight by ELO is my new favorite song of all time.

Daicon III (Good but has flaws that make it seem obvious that it's their first thing ever, it also steals a lot of muci including notable tracks from Lupin the 3rd, but it has a freaking exploding USS Enterprise so all is well):

Okay, apparently Arnold Shwartznegger did several commercials for a Japanese pharmaceutical company called Takeda around 1990. They are fantastically horrible.






The weirdest part for me is that my Dad works for that company as a lobbyist. Holy crap.

Very cool. Though the Wiki is wrong on part of the description for IV.

From atop a cliff, an Alien knocks the bunny girl down with a shock wave blast and the Dynaman robot crushes the girl. The bunny girl lifts the Dynaman robot off her with superhuman strength, smashes it against the cliff, and celebrates.

That's not Dynaman, that's Dairugger XV, known as Voltron III/Vehicle Voltron in the US.
