I just bought a ps3, what games should I buy?

How could I have been wrong if I didn't make a statement? If you read the post, I ASKED if Uncharted 2 was a FPS and then stated that I wasn't familiar:

Isn't Uncharted 2 a war themed FPS?

hey without derailing the topic, how is yakuza 3 compared to the others? i know they took a lot of stuff out of the japanese version. stuff that was already in yakuza games in america before it. i won't get it just yet since im not done with 2 yet and i would be tempted to play if i bought it. but is the game ruined because of this?

I wouldn't buy a PS3 unless it was the year 2033 and it was dirt cheap and I already had picked up retro consoles like the Wii and 360 first.

Some of us prefer games that are new and feel like retro games, as opposed to rebuying digital versions of classic games on the Super Nintendo and Dreamcast.

If you take a good look at most the games on PSN, you'll realize that they feel like the classics without being nothing more than emulators.

oh if you have a psp and a few games that go multiplayer (most seem to work) and your ps3 is hooked up with an ethernet cord, i would recommend downloading adhoc party from psn. it's a free app that allows you to play multiplayer online on your psp. it's great for games like monster hunter, mgs:pw, and dissidia.
