Picked up Sin and Punishment Star Successor

Post by env963 »

Honestly this is the first Wii game I bought at full $50 price tag. I wanted to support Treasure in bringing this game over to the U.S. and I couldnt wait 3 months for the price to come down. (I usually buy used games)

2-1/2 hours later, what a fun game! I keep wanting to swing the wiimote to use the sword, but I gotta remember use the "B" button!!! I am amazed that there aren't any cut scenes that use FMV. This is a total arcade shooter though. So far the funniest thing I have noticed is that i ranked 40 thin the U.S. (at least so far) for top score! LOL No way im that good. Give it time, ill move down that list soon enough.

If anyone is into shooters, I think treasure has another gem on there hands. Now the countdown till i get home from work so i can play again.

Lucky, I don't even have a Wii. Guess I can always bust out the N64 and play the original though

Every so often a game comes out that makes me very happy to own a Wii. This is one of them. One of the most amazing things was that the Wiimote actually felt responsive. The target mark captured the jitter of my hand, rather than trying to normalize the movement. And when I swung it from side to side, the lag was negligible!

Beyond that, the game is utterly superb. Richly inventive and damn challenging!

Last year, I felt like I NEEDED a PS3, which I'm happy I got. This year though, with great games like Star Successor and an impressive E3 presentation, the Wii is looking more and more appealling to me all the time.

The controls are very, very, responsive for using the wiimote. I haven't tried the pro controller yet. The wiimote does just fine. You aim your gun with the wiimote and move around with the nunchuck. If people are into shumps this game is a must. If you claim you are into shumps this is a must.
