Play only sends light packages (games/CDs/DVDs/books) and nothing from the memoribilia department (not even a keyring)

Re: Who would've ever thought that the PSPgo
I've always thought the general hatred on the internet aimed at the PSP Go is completely unwarranted. Half the appeal of an R4 to me is just being able to have all my games on the one cart without having to lug everything around + I'm too lazy to want to have to keep swapping cartridges all the time. Digital-only games, particularly for handhelds, is a great idea I think.

I like the idea of having the option.Incognito D wrote:I've always thought the general hatred on the internet aimed at the PSP Go is completely unwarranted. Meaning, if they had made the PSPGo WITH a UMD drive, then the (not-very-old) library of UMD's would still be available and workable, but then I'd have the option to download games going forward. I just think it's silly to kill the format when there's still plenty of new UMD's out there. It's weird. It's like having two completely different consoles out there on the market at the same time competing with each other. Which will confuse many non-geek consumers.

but the games on the PSN market are overpriced, they get released with a few day delay compared with UMD releases, and not every game is released on PSN.Incognito D wrote:I've always thought the general hatred on the internet aimed at the PSP Go is completely unwarranted. So you don't have even half the library of the PSP available to you, at much higher game prices, and at much higher console price.
Sony finally released some good deals recently, with some games going for 8€ but it's too little too late for the PSPgo.

Re: Who would've ever thought that the PSPgo
Hi I'd like to buy a PSP for my child.
Which model?
The newest one of course!
Great here it is.
How much does it cost?
More than the older ones.
Ok. I'll take this game with it as well.
Sorry, this PSP doesn't play these PSP games.
Oh.

I don't know, it just seems dumb to me. You're a fan of the PSP. You've got a bunch of PSP games. You "upgrade" to the newest model and all your games become worthless?
Re: Who would've ever thought that the PSPgo
Sony meeting had a different tone. For that matter Nintendo, Microsoft and Valve Steam too. More to follow.Riqz85 wrote:How did this particular example not come up in Sony meetings I wonder...noiseredux wrote:Hi I'd like to buy a PSP for my child.

Re: Who would've ever thought that the PSPgo
Does sony really have a plan to follow the pspgo? They mentioned nothing at E3 and the 3DS hits in less than 9 months. I think you can only go so far with graphics on a portable system which is really what the psp had over the DS. The PSP is already way behind the DS in sales.
Does anyone else see sony leaving the portable game soon?
