Re: Who would've ever thought that the PSPgo
Lack of physical media makes the PSP Go worthless to me.
Re: Who would've ever thought that the PSPgo
The PS3 controller support is the only thing worthwhile about the pspgo to me, but having to rebuy my library makes it not quite worth it
Re: Who would've ever thought that the PSPgo
In before the 200th person says they don't like the PSPgo because it doesn't have a UMD drive.
Re: Who would've ever thought that the PSPgo
love the psp...but with not having all of the games on the store kills me.

Yeah, I do feel cheated when I have my copies of Lumines I & II on UMD, and there's none on the PSN.weasels wrote:love the psp...but with not having all of the games on the store kills me.
I think the biggest barrier of the PSPgo is definitely the price, if it was at USD $125, and all DL games were at 75% (i.e. $30 for PSN-MGS: Peace Walker vs $40 on UMD), I think it would encourage gamers to consider deeply about the benefits of owning a DL-only console.
And I am quite curious to know how many here actually do own a PSPgo as well as the PSP?

What??!??ZeroAX wrote: In Europe 1€=1$.
1€= $1.22 and that's a big difference.
Re: Who would've ever thought that the PSPgo
I think that what he means (in a joking way) is that typically when companies transfer retail prices from the US to Europe, what costs X USD in the US will cost X Eur in Europe.Riqz85 wrote:What??!??ZeroAX wrote: In Europe 1€=1$.

This happens A LOT. It is usually even worse for the UK though.
It's not that strange if the exchange is 1 to 1.2 or 1.25 though - when you think about it it is probably due to the higher taxes in Europe that are around 20 to 25% (some states of the U.S. have 0%), so the retail prices are naturally more expensive in Europe. It still sucks though that the total price seems to not be reconsidered and a "one size fits all" solution is applied blatantly by just having the same numeric value in USD and EUR can really shaft the consumers and often the product (which won't sell as much). Each Euro country should be able to set their own recommended retail prices according to relevant factors.
Ivo.

Oh yes i misunderstood.
It is very true though. You US guys have it swell... Cheap games even when they're new. Here a new game can go for 70-75 Euros, which tbh is INSANE.

stores like these have saved me. New games going for less than 50€,
and if you wait 6 months like I do, you can get the games for less than 20€.
And that's console games. PC game prices are crazy low.
