Unfortunately you've played the est the Dreamcast has to offer...
Other than that, try the ones people here have suggested:
E.G.G: elemental gimmick gear (this is brilliant imo. I love the graphics and retro feel)
Evolution: World of Sacred Device (pretty average RPG, but still a lot of fun regardless)
Evolution 2 (haven't played this.. My guess is it's like the first though)
Evil Twin (Good game, wouldn't really call it a RPG as such, but give it a try if you want)
The Record of Lodoss War (Never really got into this myself, but it seems pretty good)
Timestalkers (I hate this game personally. I bought it because I loved Landstalkers and Dark Savior. But this just sucked. But hey, that's just my opinion...)

Re: Dreamcast RPGs...suggestions on what to play next
Looks like I'm a little late to this thread; all the great RPGs have already been listed! The next "big" RPG in the DC library would probably be Evolution, and it's sequel.
Re: Dreamcast RPGs...suggestions on what to play next
Considering how strong both the Mega Drive and Saturn (especially if you include imports) were on the RPG front, it really is disappointing more didn't make it to the Dreamcast. That said Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2, Shenmue and Evolution were more than enough to keep me occupied back in the day.
It's a shame E.G.G. didn't come out in PAL land otherwise I would have discovered it a lot sooner than I did. In fact, I think I have this site to thank for informing me of that game

Since when is Blue Stinger a survival horror ?
The horror part is gone as soon as you roundhouse kick a monster and it drops gold coins. So a survival puzzle solver might be more appropriate.

Thought I would add Silver.
Where's my chippy? There's my chippy.

Ah yeah Silver's a good one to add. I used to have that game and regret selling it.

Surprised no one mentioned Sega long time root: Phantasy Star.

It probably didn't get a lot of RPGs becuase the console had like, what, a 3 year lifespan?Reprise wrote:Considering how strong both the Mega Drive and Saturn (especially if you include imports) were on the RPG front, it really is disappointing more didn't make it to the Dreamcast.
