So what do you guys use to get stickers off a DS game case?
Nice, shiny, mint copy of Catlevania:Portrait of Ruin I got for 9 bucks, but it has a big white sticker on the front of the case that the pawn shop put on it. I've taken stickers off things before, but different things seem to have varying levels of success and I've made messes of other game cases before.
What do you guys recommend?

I usually use rubbing alcohol, but it doesn't always do the trick.

Use a hair dryer against it and while it's on try to slowly peel it off. You have to be patient, but it will get all the glue off.

I feel a bit silly. After posting this, I tried lifting up one of the corners and to my surprise the whole sticker peeled right off easily, leaving no residue behind. I guess that pawn shop doesn't use cheap quality stickers like other places do(i.e. Gamestop)

I've been successful removing price stickers and stamps from games by using peanut butter or cooking oil. Of course with just a little bit of it. Alcohol seems to make things worse and tarnishes the colors.
Thanks everyone...

Gamestop now uses easy to remove stickers. That is if there is no residual glue from an older sticker underneath. Liftoff 2 Aerosol from Home Depot is the stuff I use.

For the tough ones I use baby oil. Works surprisingly well.

Use Goo-Be-Gone. It works almost every time. Don't use it on--and be careful using it around--any game stickers on cartridges that are meant to be there, as it will take them off easily, or fade their color. I also recommend removing the cover art on a dvd-case game before applying it to the case. If it's a really tough sticker, let it sit on it for a while, then rub it off with paper towel.

I too do this, followed by an alcohol rubbing to remove any residue.terrin707 wrote:Use Goo-Be-Gone. It works almost every time. Thanks guys, this kind of info always comes in handy for a retro collector like me. Stickers are just one of those annoying things you learn to get used to seeing and now that I've found a pawn shop close to home, I can't wait to go there on a regular basis and see what other treasures I might find. Portrait of Ruin for 9 bucks was a steal I think.
That's Liftoff 2 stuff looks interesting. I'm gonna go buy that.
