Just imagine every vulgar speech in a film if it was censored like the smurfs. Ie from Glen Gary Glen Ross's hallmark speech:
You see pal, that's who I am, and you're nothing. Nice guy? I don't give a smurf. Good father. Smurf you, go home and play with your kids. You want to work here, close. You think this is abuse? You think this is abuse, you smurf-smurfer.

I just saw an advertisement on TV for "The A-Team". One of the critics said this to describe the movie:

"Poetry In Motion."

I'm dead serious. I'm just imagining what else this obviously paid-off critic has said.
"Die Hard With A Vengeance is proof that movies are an artistic medium!"
"Lethal Weapon 4 Puts Da Vinci to shame!"
"Rush Hour 3 makes Casablanca look like it was scripted in crayon!"

It's painful to say this but, it's no Alvin & the Chipmunks.

The massacre of my favorite children's' characters, the Chipmunks, should not be taken lightly. Turning them into obnoxious, arrogant, douchebags like we all hated in high school - essentially modeling them after Blink 182.

Just seen Toy Story 3. I was extremely excited and went to the first showing this morning in IMAX 3D. Halfway through the movie, the screen messes up and I had to leave. I haven't been that mad in a long time. Basically ruined my day.

So I tried again late at night and just went with 2D and the movie was outstanding. I cannot recommend it enough.
