Since there isn't some PC spokesperson at E3 like there is for Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft, I thought the PC gamers here might like to see some of what is slated to come out this year for the PC:

That is a very good line-up as well.J T wrote:Since there isn't some PC spokesperson at E3 like there is for Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft, I thought the PC gamers here might like to see some of what is slated to come out this year for the PC:

Many are going for consoles as well of course, but there are going to be "best versions" in the PC for several.
There are some very heavy hitters in that list I wasn't aware of.
I'm surprised there seem to be some promising "adventure" games. I thought the genre was all but dead. I have a friend who will rejoice if they actually come out.

Yeah, the old adventure genre has seemed to have a bit of a resurgence recently with all of the Telltale game releases and the updated Monkey Island game.
Here's a very similar list that seems just a bit more comprehensive:

It's good to see so many adventure games in that list. I wish someone would pick up Sierra's old properties. Wouldn't another Space Quest just be awesome?

They have been making the Nancy Drew adventure games for a while now haven't they?
Nice list dude, some interesting looking stuff on there.

Pc games still got it.
I put rocket fuel in my vaccuum and it started a fire in my house. I am so mad at Black & Decker for making a vaccuum that I can't do what I want with.

how can you live in Europe and think the genre is dead? Big budget releases like in the 80s and 90s yeah, but the French/Belgian and German markets has kept the genre in a very healthy state. Only problem is you have to wait a year for them to be translated and, well, as I said they are not really big budget releases. I don't mind that though. To me Syberia looks better than most stuff I've seen in recent years, but they really should provide the option of choosing resolutions. Those games look horrible on my 20 inch screen, and some people have way bigger screens than me.Ivo wrote:J T wrote:

The list doesn't reflect it, but I know there have been a couple of changes, like Rage has been pushed back to 2011 last I checked.

Now that I think about it every PC-exclusive title I've played in the last few years has been from a European developer. The only forthcoming PC-exclusive game I'll be playing from a US dev is Starcraft 2.ZeroAX wrote:how can you live in Europe and think the genre is dead?
