Need to get that disc out
Don't suppose you'd want to write a review for it, Mozgus?
Racketboy, Under Defeat has the best graphix and explosions of any dreamcast game ever made. It even surpasses Ikaruga in graphix and fun factor. When your helicopter flies over the trees they move, when it moves by smoke, it blows it away.
Its intense, learn the simple mechanics and you have a all time great.
Mars Matrix got me hooked on shmups at first... I like under defeat a lot too. but I have logged the most hours into Gradius III and IV for ps2 (by far)..
Do you have a shmup article yet? Top 20 would be cool.
Yeah sorry, I was hoping I didnt actually post that half thought. Time to find a copy of Under Defeat. The question is how does it compare to the Shanghai Alice series?

Can't say how it compares , but I strongly recommend getting Under defeat.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.
