The Wii is looking to become the new shmup powerhouse (especially with GC backwards comp. & TG16 VC releases)

Now all we need is for that stick to release and be cube compatible...

You mean this stick? http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-113-49-en-70-23bd.html

Looks pretty cool. You can't use the classic controller for gamecube games right?

cool - I played the PC version and its my favourite of the Shiki games

It will be good to play it from my couch, and in answer to Mr Stripe - no I dont think so, but you could get a PS2
Stick (like a Hori or something) quite easily and then buy a Gamecube adapter, thats what I use to play Ikaruga on my Wii,
it also works for most VC games, having said that, I still want that light blue and white Hori Fighting Stick :p...

Yeah but the gamecube one is only soso. I used it back when it came out and it only emulated the dpad, not the stick. Meaning for most games it was worthless. However with a psx to gamecube adapter, some clever soldering, and alot of luck I plan on trying my hand at it in a couple weeks.
