Yup, I've got a disc only copy I only played once as a curiosity and then shelved. Just feels too slow when compared to Tetris, Puzzle Fighter, Puzzle League/Tetris Attack and other existing puzzle games. But, it's a good game to just relax with as it's pretty slow paced.

hi Extreme nice info supplied there , im planing on getting some Sega Saturn Consoles and need a game to test them with. Baku Baku has a long FMV intro and is perfect to check if the Laser skips or not.

And s8n you are using it for one of the best reasons. If I am not mistaken it is the cheapest game with a long fmv intro.

I disagree with Modman, I think it is one of the best puzzle games of all time. I bought a Saturn specifically to play Baku Baku back in the day. It does start out slow compared to Tetris or Dr Mario, but it picks up, and if you have real competition it gets fast.

hiya fastbilly , i purchased and received Baku Baku about 6 days ago. I was feeling a bit down on the game from Mod_Man's review but from what you have said has revived my interest in Baku Baku.

s8n, I am of the belief that any game can be fun when played with the right people. I have yet to find someone who plays game that will not give Baku Baku atleast a chance. It is a little cutesy yes, but once the game starts yelling in the middle of a vs match most people cave.

i like the GFX SFX and theme of Baku Baku........some other Puzzle games have the same sort of design too.
