So..uh..was that gameplay? I really couldn't tell what was going on. I guess the person is supposed to be the player playing the game, but I really don't get what's going on.

There goes the chance of this fucking thing succeeding.
$150 just for the damn bar? And the new Xbox slim is $300? So the cost of entry to new customers is. . . $400? Compared to $200 for a wii. Oh, and the wii comes with a game.
The wi comes packaged with Wii sports, wii sports resort and a motionplus now. So you get two games, plus motionplus, which, while not ashigh tech as the move or kinect, works well enough.

If you look closely you'll see a cursor. It looked like snippets of gameplay in between various cinematic cuts.

See, that's the sort of thing that motion stuff would be good for. Something slightly better than mouse control. Pointing as opposed to using an analog stick for fine control. Waggling a plastic sword around is just tiresome.
Kind of neat video of child of eden. However I am not buying a move for that game. I dont have any plans to buy a move anyways. Id buy that game for the Wii.
$150 for the Kinect?? hahaha microsoft lost! Don't even bother bringing it out. Too expensive!
I'm not sure which version I'll buy, but damn it, I will buy either a Move or Kinect for a follow up, spiritual or otherwise, to Rez. Seriously, that's game of the year stuff right there. Please be wonderful, please be wonderful...
Pricing makes sense. Kinect can have 4 players at a time, right? A price of any current gen game controller is... 50 dollars New. Hm... 150 seems cheap to me.

Maybe, but how many people actually have 4 controllers? Seems like if they charged 79.99 for it they'd have a much better selling point: 79.99 and you don't have to buy a whole crapload of controllers for everyone to play.

What's with this recent trend of pretending like gamers have friends?

From what I've seen, Natal seems to just offer what Nintendo's giving out without the waggler, but Sony seems to be going the "Can the Wii give you this?", with an air of hypocrisy attached.
