Since last night to this morning, Charter's been having some internet problems, where the connection will spike, then go back to normal. This led to unplayable online on the PS3 and difficulty signing in.
It's back to normal now, but whenever I try to access the PSN store, it says "not available in country or region". When I select account management, it says,"An error has occurred."
I'm pretty sure this has to do with the internet spikes messing with the signing in, and now it's confused about what it's trying to do. Can anyone help? I've already searched on Google if anyone had the same problem, but I couldn't find anything.
Edit- Went back and got the error code when trying to select Account Management. It's [80023017]
Can't access PSN store or Account Management.

I read that the parts of the PSN are having some downtime today, so that might be the problem.

Oh thank god. Thanks for clearing that up guys. Phew...I thought I'd have to make a new account just to download demos and stuff. Sorry to bother you with this stupid problem.

You can thank that pair of 3-D glasses sitting in that nearby copy of Contra: Legacy of War for your PS3 farting on you today...

Seems to be back up. I am downloading Joe Danger and Soldner-X 2.

3D gaming? Great, more useless shit that nobody cares about, hands up, who has a 3D TV... Yeah, thought not. When is Sony going to release an update for something useful, oh y'know, something like cross-game chat, or countless other features the 360 has over the PS3, still?

Much better than the first. I haven't played it much (Deathsmiles II's my mistress) but you can get some good impressions on the shmups.com board.Rurouni_Fencer wrote:How's Soldner-X2..? I've been on the fence..dsheinem wrote:Seems to be back up. I am downloading Joe Danger and Soldner-X 2.

A lot of my real life friends have a 360, we don't all play the same games at the same time. Even then, you can only talk to other people playing the same game, when they're in the same match as you. There has been countless times where I've been playing with a group of 8 people on Bad Company 2 where we haven't all been able to get into game, but stayed in the party just to have a chat.
The PS3 is severely lacking in social functions. Why Sony hasn't fixed it yet, is beyond me, mind you, it took them nearly 2 years to add the in game XMB. So I'm not gonna hold my breath. I'll just keep buying my games for the 360 instead. Sony's loss, not mine.
