Best of all? They are going to be enchanted versions of the originals.
Problem is, you have to deal with the lady of the lake to get them.

damn you. When PS2 games on PSN gets announced I'll be first
My "download", with original backup, can also go the Action Replay route. Used discs are cheaper then the rental download.

I've been wondering since these original rumors came out whether or not this is going to apply to non-first party Dreamcast games like the Powerstone games, Rush 2049, Bangai-O, etc. I tend to doubt it does since they are taking the time to not just release them, but also up-res and leaderboard them. Seems like Capcom and other game companies would have to rerelease them as opposed to Sega. Maybe not though?

I do know this has the chance to make my freshly started Dreamcast collection obsolete in very little time.

I don't think this will beat the original experience of playing the games on its original platform, so you should be safe. I will say this though, I have owned my Dreamcast and games since day one, but if the price is right, I'll get these too. Some of these games are so good, that I desire to replay through them once in a while, and this re-release with enhancements will only fuel that desire in me.

i would love to play jet grind radio! i own it, sure. but think about it being enhanced! i probably wouldn't get much else to be honest, unless they make some games online multiplayer, like powerstone!

The 360 is quite capable of handling DC emulation but it seems Sega is going the porting route.

My wetdream would be an enhanced Shemue Chapter 1+2 disc plus a third mini chapter to end the story once and for all. Shenmue is one of the few key problematic games with emulators. Ryu Hazuki looks messed up in all three main emulators.
