Ever sold a game/console and later regretted it?
I know it's common to sell or trade a game or system away, but has anyone ever sold or traded something and seriously regretted it?

Sega Master System. 1994. Sold with a tonne of games to save up for Megadrive games.
What did I end up buying? World of Illusion. I think I completed it in about 4 hours.
Biggest regret ever. I've never sold a single thing since.

I pawned my PS1 and a truckload of games to buy my PS2. I regret that so much it hurts. I practically sold my teenage years to that pawn shop.
Luckily i kept the games i loved a lot.
Those include FF7, Oddworld, Smash Court Tennis,Rollcage and a few others-

Yes.
I'm still trying to rebuild my N64 collection after trading it for a used Final Fantasy X
then a few short weeks later my ps2 broke..
I also wish I still had my original NES from when I was a kid, if not just for sentimental reasons

Power Stone
Supermagnetic Neo
Dynamite Cop
Star Wars Bounty Hunter
Castlevania 64 (shut up I liked it)
Bomberman 64. . . I didn't actually like it, I just still have the box and am annoyed that it's empty
Off-world interceptor for saturn. . . game sucked but non-broken saturn boxes are hard to come by. And how much could I have gotten for this game anyway?

Re: Ever sold a game/console and later regretted it?
My original complete boxed NES and all the minty games complete down to plastic baggies I had for it. I was less of a tinker/Mr Fixit back then and when it got to the point of spending 5 minutes to get a game working, I gave all of it to my Grandma to sell at her garage sale. I even had a silly Nintendo licensed dust cover for it. I've since gotten another NES and bought all of the good games I had again, but I've only gotten one game absolutely mint and complete like I had.

Re: Ever sold a game/console and later regretted it?
biggest regret was my SNES and megadrive collection
SNES - i had all teh best games, chronotrigger, FFIII, II, Secret of Mana, Illusion of Time, mariokart, MK2, killer instinct, yoshis island, DKC1 and 2 etc etc
MEgadrive - loads of awesome shooters, thunderforce, i had strider, turrican, i had herzog zwei etc.
i didnt mind dropping my PS1, N64 but losing those two (esp the snes) is such a regret right now....

Yeah. I regret selling my boxed Nintendo 64 console with all these boxed games: Goldeneye 007, Killer Instinct Gold, Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey and Tony Hawk Pro Skater.
I still have yet to find any of those games boxed and in good condition (for a fair price).
