Joe Danger

This come out today for the PSN, and so far is getting really rave reviews. IGN called it a cross between Excitebike and Trials HD, with the polished feel of a Nintendo first party title. I saw it at PAX East and was impressed - but it sounds like the final version is even better.

I'm pretty sure I'll be downloading this later today. Anyone else?

Hadn't heard anything about this until now, but it looks really cool. I hope it gets as challenging as Trials was.
Thanks for the heads up too!

There's demo on PSN now for those of you who were on the fence about buying it. The game is a lot of fun, although it gets tough near the end...

I want to play this game because I love the Excitebike style. I don't have a PS3 though. I'm hoping it might work its way over to PC.

Did you read about some of the dumb reasons this game almost never saw the light of day though?!

holy crap. the one that really got me was "We want games that are less about fun right now". that makes absolutely no scene. And i love Joe danger! why would you want a game to be anything but fun...

Like it happens with movies. Execs tend to have no idea of what makes a game good or succesful. The reason is that they simply have no experience on the field of arts and often thiunk that creating a game is like making cookies.
